A common method for thickening puddings, sauces, glazes, and other cooked meals is to utilise arrowroot, a fine, white powder that is obtained from the roots of numerous tropical plants. When cooked, arrowroot has no flavour and turns clear, making it the perfect ingredient for sweets. Never heat Tropical Sun Arrowroot or add it to hot mixes without first making a thin paste with cold water. When replacing cornflour, use 1 tablespoon of Arrowroot instead of 2 tablespoons of flour.
